The austerity budget signed by the Governor after passage by you and your colleagues is still fresh in the minds of workers all across this state. We have thought long and hard about how we proceed as a labor movement knowing full well what is at stake in these upcoming elections. We appreciate your overall record on issues important to working families, your willingness to seek our endorsement and your thoughtful answers to our questions during our interview process. Despite your extremely disappointing vote in favor of this devastating budget, the delegates of the 11th Biennial Political Convention of the Connecticut AFL-CIO endorse your candidacy for re-election.
