More information on the food drive postponement: Letter Carriers' Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Postponed

----------

Help Stamp Out Hunger on Saturday, May 9th, during the the Letter Carriers' 28th annual food drive!

It’s the nation’s largest one-day food drive and we need your help to make it successful. You don’t even have to leave home to help out.

Just follow these two simple steps:

  1. Collect and bag unopened, nonperishable food items.
  2. Place the bag by the mailbox for your letter carrier prior to their normal delivery time.

That’s it! Your letter carrier will pick-up the donations and deliver them to a local food bank.

In 2019, the food drive collected over 75 million pounds of non-perishable food. This year, we hope to do even better. All donated food will stay and help the local community.

Have any questions? Check out the Food Drive’s FAQ page for more information or email lettercarrierfooddrive@nalc.org.

The food drive is sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC), United Food & Commercial Workers (UFCW), United Way, U.S. Postal Service, and the AFL-CIO.
