Plumber & Pipefitters Union Collected Over 6,700 Pounds of Food in 4th Annual Food Drive

On Tuesday, December 20th, at 10:30am, the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 777 will donate over 6,700 pounds of food that was collected during their fourth annual food drive. All of the donations will go to the John J. Driscoll United Labor Agency, a community services organization affiliated with the Connecticut AFL-CIO.

The food will be given out through the ULA’s senior food program, labor of love backpack program, and to homeless veterans. Amy Blackwood, Executive Director of the United Labor Agency, will be at the food drive to collect the food and answer any questions about the agency’s programs.
